Speck gets a visit from some very special people from all over the place.

Lauren, Brenda and Mitch all came to spend a long weekend with the Houston Cohens. This was the first time that Lauren met Speck and of course Speck took to her beautiful cousin Lauren immediately. It was a wonderful visit, which ended all too quickly. I guess time does fly when you are having fun.

Well apparently we are not too bad at this parenting thing. I thought for sure we'd have broken the kid by now.
Doc says we're doing a pretty descent job. Of course, we wouldn't have been able to get this far without the help and loving care of Nana (mommy's mommy). She has been growing at a very steady rate and Dr. Barry is very happy with her progress. She's a little small for a 9 month old, IN HER NANA'S OPINION, but i think she's a perfect little bundle of joy! She's in the 25th percentile for her weight, and in the 50th percentile for her height.

Speck turns 9 Months old

Speck turns 9 months old. We recently moved to a new home and so the pictures are limited. (SORRY)
She crawls, cruises, chatters up a storm, says maa maa, taa taa, daa daa (only when she's in a mood), among other words. Grandma is currently teaching her to say meow. She's growing steadily. Getting taller or longer and growing into a gorgeous little girl. She truely is a gem!!
